Ruth and Shmuel Ben David are a young couple from the ultra-Orthodox Jewish community. They are happily preparing the traditional three-year-old ceremony for their son, Shrulik, when he tragically dies after being left in a car. The tragedy completely shatters their lives. While Shmuel seeks forgiveness through an even stricter religious practice, Ruth begins to question the beliefs and certainties that have always guided her life. Gradually, the couple drifts apart, each following a different path in confronting guilt, grief, and faith.
